Women come in all shapes and sizes and all levels of ability. It doesn’t matter if you’re rubbish or an expert. The brilliant thing is you’re a woman and you’re doing something.

Welcome to This Girl Can – the National Lottery funded campaign focused on helping all women from all backgrounds get active in ways that work for them.  

We share unfiltered stories and images of relatable women and girls playing sport, doing exercise or simply moving in all it’s sweaty, jiggly, doing-it-for-me glory.  

We never judge and we don’t care what other people think.  

Women come in all shapes and sizes with all abilities and from all backgrounds. Some of us are expert sportswomen, some of us are a bit rubbish. It doesn’t matter. 

We’re just happy that you’re getting active.

And if you’re still not sure that you can, we’re here to help you to figure out the way of getting active that’s right for you. And to amplify your voice and experience to ensure that you get the support, opportunities and advice you need.
